SplashMe for Home Assistant: early access is open

UPDATE: 6 October 2026

If you run your home on Home Assistant, the SplashMe integration is now available for early access, and we'd like to invite you to try it.

What it does

The integration connects Home Assistant directly to your SplashMe controller over your home network. You sign in once with your SplashMe account, and after that every reading and command stays local.

In Home Assistant you'll get:

  • Water chemistry: pH, ORP, temperatures and dosing
  • Control of your pump, heater, lights and aux outputs
  • Your schedules
  • A ready-made Pool dashboard

How to join early access

1. Send us your device ID. Email support@splashmepool.com.au with your controller's device ID. You'll find it in the SplashMe app under your device.

2. We'll update your controller. Local control needs firmware 2.5.45 or newer, so we'll schedule an over-the-air update for you. It takes a few minutes and your pool settings are kept. We'll email you as soon as it's done.

3. Install the integration. Once your firmware is updated:

  1. In HACS, add https://github.com/laboratoryyingong/splashme-home-assistant as a custom repository (category: Integration).
  2. Install SplashMe and restart Home Assistant.
  3. Go to Settings > Devices & services > Add integration > SplashMe and sign in with your SplashMe account. Your controller is found on your network automatically.

What to expect

This is early access, so you'll see frequent updates come through HACS while we refine the integration. If something doesn't work, email us or open an issue on the GitHub page, ideally with the diagnostics file from Home Assistant attached. Every report helps.

New to Home Assistant?

Home Assistant is free and runs on a small device such as a Raspberry Pi. It also bridges to most other home automation systems, so it's a good way to bring your pool into the rest of your smart home.

If you'd rather build your own local control, our public API documentation is available at developers.splashmepool.com.au.
