Warranty Policy

Goods Covered: SplashMe Smart Pool Automation Controller

Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Goods replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not a major failure. What constitutes a “major failure” is defined in the Australian Consumer Law.


1. Definitions

For this Warranty Policy:

  • We / us / our — Nymet Innovations Pty Ltd ACN 152 455 457
  • You / your — The purchaser or end user of the Goods
  • Goods — The SplashMe smart pool automation controller
  • Defect — A material failure of the Goods to substantially comply with their Specifications
  • Specifications — The specifications supplied with the Goods or provided to you by us

3. Warranty Coverage

If you purchase Goods from us or one of our approved distributors or resellers, we provide the following

  • Automation Controller: two-year manufacturer’s warranty from the original date of sale (the Warranty Period).
  • Probes, Dosing Pumps and Squeeze Tubes: one-year warranty from original date of sale (the Warranty Period). 

Our warranty includes:

  • The Goods will be free from Defects during the Warranty Period (unless stated otherwise).
  • If the Goods suffer a Defect during the Warranty Period, we will repair the Goods or provide an equivalent replacement, free of charge.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Costs related to removing or reinstalling the Goods
  • Damage to pumps, equipment or accessories connected to the Goods

Subject to the ACL, this policy represents our entire guarantee and warranty.


4. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty is void if the Goods were not:

  • Purchased from us or an approved reseller/distributor; or
  • Installed by an approved SplashMe installer.

This warranty does not apply if the Defect was caused by:

  • Incorrect installation or use that does not follow the instructions
  • Unauthorised modifications, tampering or repairs
  • Use outside of the intended purpose
  • Operation outside the Specifications or recommendations
  • Use with a filter pump over 2kW
  • Faulty or incompatible accessories, pumps or equipment
  • Natural disasters or acts of God
  • Power spikes, surges or irregular electricity supply
  • Insect, vermin or foreign object intrusion

The warranty covers only the Goods and does not extend to any other connected products or equipment.


5. Making a Warranty Claim

Before lodging a claim

(a) Stop using the Goods immediately if you suspect a Defect.
(b) Contact your approved installer first. They will inspect the Goods and prepare a report. You will receive a copy.

How to lodge a claim

Include the following information:

  1. Your full name
  2. Installation address
  3. Description of the issue
  4. How you think the issue arose
  5. Photos of the Goods and the affected parts (if possible)
  6. Serial number
  7. Proof of purchase
  8. Proof of installation by an approved installer
  9. A copy of the installer’s inspection report

If information is missing, we may not be able to process your claim.


6. What Happens After You Lodge a Claim

Within 5 business days, we will respond to:

  • Advise the outcome

  • Request more information

  • Request to inspect the Goods

If inspection is required, you must return the Goods to us at your cost.

If the Goods are found to have a Defect covered by this warranty, we will reimburse your reasonable return costs.

We may also choose, at our discretion, to inspect the Goods onsite.

After inspection or receipt of further details, we will notify you of the outcome within 5 business days.


7. If Your Claim Is Accepted

If your claim is valid, we will:

  • Repair the Goods or

  • Provide an equivalent replacement

We will also cover reasonable delivery costs associated with sending the repaired or replacement Goods to you.


8. If Your Claim Is Rejected

You will receive a written explanation of the reasons why.

If we have your Goods (for inspection), you may request their return at your cost.


9. Warranty on Repaired or Replaced Goods

Any repaired or replacement Goods will continue to receive coverage only for the remainder of the original Warranty Period, not a new full period.
